Kids can help by sending cards too!

As we ride out these days of social distancing it is truly heart-warming to see so many parts of the community come together to help each other. Sending a card is a really good way to make someone’s day a little better and this is something kids can do too. They could send a note or a drawing to someone they know, or this article suggests writing to residents of a nursing home or assisted living center. These elderly residents are feeling very isolated from their family and friends as they are not allowed visitors. You will also find addresses towards the end of the article, or you might look up the address of a facility near you.
